Environmental Toxins
These are substances and organisms that not only negatively affect nature, they also have damaging affects on the environment in our bodies too, which can lead to poor health.
Plastics are often cited as a major contributor to global pollution and waste. In the home, because plastic packaging is full of toxic chemicals, these can over time can leach into its liquid contents, particularly if the bottle is exposed to sun/heat. With this in mind be particularly careful about drinking from water bottles that might be left in the car in sunny days.
Stainless Steel, however, is a much better choice since it’s primary raw material is scrap metal, there are no harmful chemicals being mixed and it is naturally corrosion resistant, therefore not coated in harmful chemicals either, so will not create any kind of toxic runoff to contaminate the contents you will be using.
Should a stainless steel item find it’s way to a landfill, no need to worry; as it will never release toxins into the soil or water, and poses no threat to the environment or to animals living in the area.
Recyclable, Sustainable & Durable Bottles
Almost all other shampoos are packaged in plastic bottles, but whilst this is cheap, plastic is bad for the environment and therefore for your health too. It is made from oil “fossil fuel” and the manufacturing creates an enormous amount of pollution and requires a huge amount of energy.
Even though we were previously using BPA free recyclable plastic, unfortunately only around 9% of plastic items are ever recycled.
My new shampoo bottles are stainless steel and 100% recyclable, what’s more they will never oxidise or rust. More than 80% of stainless steel items are recycled at the end of their lives, and they can be reused indefinitely. An even better way to recycle these new shampoos bottles is to repurpose them around your home. Use them as attractive and durable dispensers for decanting washing up liquid, liquid soap or shower gel etc. and so much more stylish than the plastic containers they are likely to originally come in.

My supplements will also be transitioning to beautiful “Eco” metal pots in due course; Iron Complex, vitamin D Complex, L-Glutamine, but first my two new exciting supplements, which I’ll announce soon, will be launched in the new pots.
The M&O’s will stay in the current packaging as this is better for this particular product and for freshness.
However, we do have “Eco Packs” of M&O’s available on request.
